FORT RILEY, Kansas — All outpatient clinics and ancillary services at Irwin Army Community Hospital and its outlying clinics will be closed June 19 in observance of the Juneteenth federal holiday.

Healthy families are the foundation of mission readiness. That's why IACH proudly hosts the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program – a Riley County resource that provides nutrition support, breastfeeding assistance, and health education to military families who need it most. For many service members and their families, the WIC program represents an untapped opportunity. Despite serving nearly 1,400 beneficiaries at Fort Riley, many more could benefit.

Irwin Army Community Hospital’s Walk-in Contraceptive Clinic is changing its day of service to better accommodate patients. Effective May 8, 2025, the clinic will be available on Thursdays instead of Tuesdays. Hours of operation will remain the same.

FORT RILEY, Kansas — Effective May 8, 2025, the walk-in contraceptive clinic will be available on Thursdays instead of Tuesdays. Hours of operation will remain the same.

Starting April 4, Irwin Army Community Hospital will transition its Central Appointment Line (239-DOCS) to a new call-handling platform. This upgrade is designed to enhance service efficiency, but patients should be aware of a few key changes during the transition.

• Effective immediately, Irwin Army Community Hospital’s patient entrance hours have changed to better ensure the safety of our patients, visitors, and staff. Monday – Friday: 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Weekends & Federal Holidays: Closed

At Irwin Army Community Hospital, we are committed to providing safe and high-quality medical care to all our patients, including children. However, it is important for parents, guardians, and caregivers to understand the legal requirements regarding medical consent for minors. Who Can Consent to a Minor’s Medical Care? Under federal healthcare regulations, a minor (anyone under the age of 18) cannot receive medical treatment unless consent is given by: • A biological parent • A legal guardian (with court documentation) • An individual holding a valid medical power of attorney (MPOA)

How it works: 1. Scan or text: Simply scan the QR code or text "get in line" to (855) 797-3905. 2. Get in line: Your place in line is secured, so you can go about your day.

The Irwin Army Community Hospital lab is now offering the convenience of online appointment scheduling. Appointments scheduled online will be prioritized over walk-in patients, ensuring you spend less time waiting. To start scheduling your lab appointment, visit the Digital Appointment Portal, select Kansas for the Geographic Location, and Fort Riley for the installation.

Online Lab Scheduling Now Available

FORT RILEY, Kansas — Irwin Army Community Hospital is pleased to announce the launch of its new online lab appointment scheduling system. As of Aug. 1, 2024, patients can conveniently book lab appointments through the Digital Appointment Portal. This pilot program aims to streamline the lab appointment process, reducing wait times for patients with scheduled appointments. While walk-in appointments will continue to be available, those with scheduled appointments will take priority.
