Walk-in Contraceptive Clinic Moving to Thursdays

By Jorge Gomez

Irwin Army Community Hospital’s Walk-in Contraceptive Clinic is changing its day of service to better accommodate patients. Effective May 8, 2025, the clinic will be available on Thursdays instead of Tuesdays. Hours of operation will remain the same:

Days: Thursdays
Time: 8 a.m. - Noon & 1 - 4 p.m.
Location: OB/GYN Clinic, 2nd floor

This walk-in service provides female beneficiaries with a 30-minute appointment on a first-come, first-served basis—no appointment necessary. Patients may experience wait times based on demand and are encouraged to remain in the waiting area to avoid losing their place in line. If more than 14 patients check in, the clinic may not be able to accommodate additional walk-ins that day.

For questions, please contact the OB/GYN Clinic. Thank you for your understanding as we make this change to better serve our patients.

Don't forget to keep your family's information up-to-date in DEERS.
