Substance Use Disorder Clinical Care (SUDCC)

The SUDCC provides provide substance use disorder clinical care, including assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, aftercare, for service members and other beneficiaries within an integrated medical and mental health model to enhance health and readiness.

The program is part of a comprehensive plan to address the total mental health needs of the patient. Integrated care maximizes the opportunity for successful recovery and return to full readiness status.

Though a self-referral is the preferred method of referral for treatment there are five other referral methods for entry into the SUDCC program: investigation/apprehension, biochemical (+UA), command referral, medical referral (ER, Mental Health, etc.), and self-referral.

SUDCC providers are co-located within existing EMH and Multi-disciplinary Mental Health teams, ensuring Soldiers receive prompt collaborative care for substance abuse disorders as well as any co-occurring condition.
