While water service has been restored inside Irwin Army Community Hospital, the water is currently not potable. This advisory is in effect due to a boil water notice. Outpatient care and services remain available to all patients.

IACH Updates for Jan. 30

  1. IACH hosts a Patient & Family Advisory Council on challenges impacting Behavioral Healthcare (access to care, referrals, waiting lists, etc.) on Tuesday, Jan 31, 10:30 a.m., at the hospital’s EPD Bay on the 3rd floor. All family members are welcome to attend and ask questions directly to hospital leadership. It’s your opportunity to speak up and be heard.
 
  1. Join our celebration of the Army Nurse Corps birthday Thursday, February 2, 11:45 a.m. at IACH’s EPD Bay on the 3rd floor. Our special guest speaker is COL Hope Williamson-Younce, the interim chief of the ANC.
 
  1. IACH and its outlying clinics will go on a weekend status Feb. 16, 12:30 – 4:30 p.m., to support Victory Wellness activities for hospital staff. Please plan accordingly.
 
  1. A Calling, A Purpose, A Nurse – The practice of nursing at IACH's Emergency Room has no parallel in a civilian hospital. At IACH, nurses have the privilege of caring for individuals who have promised to lay down their lives in service to the nation.   1. Why this Pharmacist Chose IACH – Katrina Simon remembers the hardships her cousins experienced growing up with a father who served on active duty.
