In addition to getting a prescription for glasses, eye exams check for visual acuity, binocular vision, eye movement, peripheral vision, ocular health, and facilitate other supplemental testing to rule out possible eye problems. Please note that school vision screenings are no substitute for a comprehensive eye exam performed by a licensed optometrist.
