FORT RILEY, Kansas –
Irwin Army Community Hospital will move to a weekend status on Friday, Dec. 19, beginning at 11:30 a.m. to support a scheduled command event intended to strengthen team cohesion and reinforce organizational readiness. During this time, only the Emergency Department and inpatient care services will remain open.
All outpatient clinics (including Farrelly Health Clinic), ancillary services, administrative offices, and the Central Appointment Line will be closed for the remainder of the day. Previously announced reduced hours for the Pharmacy and Laboratory now fall under this expanded closure.
Patients should plan accordingly and complete any routine appointments, prescription needs, or administrative tasks prior to 11:30 a.m. that day.
