Patient & Family Partnership Council
The council consists of patient advisors and beneficiaries who work in collaboration to enhance the quality of care and patient experience. Thus, seeking valuable insight by talking and listening to our beneficiaries’ healthcare experiences with physicians, staff, and other patients. The patient and family roles are to provide feedback and share their voices to help to improve hospital and clinic policies, staff and clinician practices, programs, or facilities with the purpose of helping improve the overall patient experience.
PFPC Mission
To enhance the patient experience through open, collaborative decision-making between patients and staff. The council will remain committed to incorporating community partner voices into policies to improve the overall healthcare system and experience.

Roles & Responsibilities of Beneficiary Members
Roles:
- Sharing your perspective and stories of your experiences in IACH and its different departments
- Participate in group discussions and provide feedback in a respectful manner that is conducive to idea sharing
- Assist in creating materials for other beneficiary/ patient use
- Work as a member of short- and long-term project teams
Responsibilities:
- Attend at least one meeting per year out of four opportunities
- Ensure what is discussed is kept private unless determined to be open for sharing with community
- Remain respectful of all council members and all perspectives brought to the table
