No one knows real-world combat conditions better than the CSMs of the Army. So their experience and expertise are instrumental to the making of the Best Leader Competition. What exactly is their role? Do they just review and oversee the details? A week before the competition began, all senior enlisted advisors of the Medical Readiness Command, West converged on Fort Riley to personally stress test and scrutinize each event's realism and safety.
