Nursing the One
FORT RILEY, Kan. —
Airica Forkom serves families who represent one percent of the U.S. population -- the active duty service member. Military families endure unique stressors resulting from multiple relocations, altered finances, changes in social support from family and friends, single parent roles, deployments and the concern for safety of their respective service member. Forkom has an affection for this population who makes the sacrifices that everyone else take for granted.
