Walk-In Contraceptive Services
Get all your contraceptive care in one place: Irwin Army Community Hospital's Contraceptive Care Walk-in Clinic. The clinic is open on Thursdays, 8 a.m. – noon & 1 - 4 p.m., except federal holidays or minimal staffing days.
Beginning June 4, 2026, the Contraceptive Walk-In Clinic at Irwin Army Community Hospital will transition to morning-only operations, seeing patients from 8 a.m. - noon.
As we enter the Army’s summer PCS season, IACH will experience the routine rotation of our medical providers and support personnel. To accommodate these seasonal transitions, we are temporarily consolidating the clinic's operating hours.
If you require contraceptive care or counseling and are unable to visit the clinic during the morning walk-in hours, reach out to your Primary Care team via the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal to schedule an appointment.

How it Works
No appointment necessary. All female beneficiaries will be walked-in for a 30-minute appointment and seen in the order of arrival. Patients may be asked to wait in the waiting room during their check-in period as availability may be sooner than anticipated. If a patient leaves before her turn, the next patient may be called in ahead of her. If more than 14 patients check in to be seen, the clinic may not be able to accept additional patients that day.
