Walk-In Contraceptive Services

Get all your contraceptive care in one place: Irwin Army Community Hospital's new Contraceptive Care Walk-in Clinic.

The clinic is open on Thursdays, 8 a.m. – noon & 1 - 4 p.m., except federal holidays or minimal manning days

Services include the following: 

• Contraceptive Counseling
• Birth Control Pills
• Patches
• Rings
• Implants & Intrauterine Devices
• Emergency Contraception
• Removals & Replacements

How it Works

No appointment necessary. All female beneficiaries will be walked-in for a 30-minute appointment and seen in the order of arrival. Patients may be asked to wait in the waiting room during their check-in period as availability may be sooner than anticipated. If a patient leaves before her turn, the next patient may be called in ahead of her. If more than 14 patients check in to be seen, the clinic may not be able to accept additional patients that day.
