Multi-disciplinary Team (Multi-D)
The Multi-Disciplinary Team (Multi-D) provides sub specialty outpatient Mental Health services at Irwin Army Community Hospital. Multi-D services include routine outpatient MH services, neuropsychology, health psychology, forensic evaluations, and direct support to Warrior Transition Units as well as other special populations. They also support many outpatient clinical missions including education and outreach support.
The Multi-D Team provides outpatient mental healthcare to the 97th Military Police Battalion, MEDDAC, DENTAC, Division Headquarters Headquarters Battalion, DIVARTY, and active duty dependents.
Services provided by the Multi-D Team include, but are not limited to: mental health evaluation and treatment for a wide range of disorders including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder; psychotherapy; pharmacotherapy (medication management); telemental health services; neuropsychological assessment for attention, memory, and other cognitive deficits; substance use evaluation and clinical care; bariatric surgery evaluations; suicide assessment and prevention; sleep hygiene; sanity board forensic evaluations; marital and other services.
