IACH Updates for Feb. 13

  1. Starting Feb. 21, outpatient behavioral health services for 1st BDE, 2nd BDE and 1st STB will permanently relocate to Custer Hill Health Clinic to centralize behavioral health resources. Walk-in hours remain Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Primary Care and Nurse Case Management services will be provided at Farrelly Health Clinic, Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
 
  1. IACH and its outlying clinics will go on a weekend status Feb. 16, 12:30 – 4:30 p.m., to support Victory Wellness activities for hospital staff. Please plan accordingly.
 
  1. Young Black Girl Wants to be a Doctor  A Louisiana high school counselor told a black girl she would never make it to medical school. Years later, Dr. Sharon Harris-Baugh now shares the story of the black girl who made it in spite of what others said. https://youtu.be/KvGVwqOxp00
